R U OK?

Asking “Are you OK?” is something we can do every single day.
It might be a quick chat in the playground, sitting beside someone who looks a little lonely, asking a friend how their day is going, or simply letting someone know you’re there.

Our students wore a touch of yellow, enjoying a special treat and, most importantly, checked in on one another. Once students received their cupcakes, they were able to sit together, enjoy their treat and take the opportunity to ask their friends and staff members, “Are you okay?” It was lovely to hear these simple but important conversations happening across the school and to see our student's showing kindness, care and support for each other.
A big thank you to all the staff that helped out today and a very special thank you to Lauren - our amazing provisional psychologist, currently working in our school, for providing our school with such valuable resources and making such delicious cupcakes. ?
Let’s make checking in, listening and caring for one another part of everyday life, not just something we do on R U OK? Day.
Because every day is a good day to ask: R U OK? ?
